The Husqvarna 450S is a robust, high-performance chainsaw built to handle demanding tasks. With a 50.2 cm³ X-Torq® engine delivering 2.4 kW of power, this saw offers serious cutting capability while remaining manageable for land-owners and farmers.
This model is based on Husqvarna’s trusted 400-series platform but features reinforced construction for increased durability and a host of user-friendly features. These include a flip-up fuel cap for easy refuelling even with gloves, a quick-release air-filter for fast cleaning, a hybrid plastic/metal crankcase for strength, and a side‐mounted chain tensioner for convenience.
With a chain speed of 18.5 m/s at maximum power, it offers excellent cutting performance. The recommended bar length spans from 33 cm to 50 cm (13″ to 20″), with typical packages including 45 cm (18″) bars. At 5 kg (excluding cutting equipment) it remains relatively lightweight for its class.
