The IAE Double‑Sided Universal Drinker is designed to provide efficient and hygienic water access in tight or shared spaces. With a length of 380 mm and width of 570 mm, it accommodates two animals at once, ideal for sheep, goats, calves, or small cattle groups. Robustly made from 1.5 mm galvanised steel, it stands up to regular use and wet conditions.
Each side includes its own ball valve for automatic water refill, ensuring a consistent water level and minimising overflowing. The drinker’s compact size reduces wasted water and fits neatly against pens or walls. Mounting brackets (optional) allow installation on posts, walls, or stanchions. The durable galvanised finish meets BS EN ISO 1461 standards for long-lasting corrosion resistance, especially in environments with silage or high moisture.
Note: This equipment is Hot Dip Galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, however, where the equipment will be in prolonged contact with silage or other mineral rich water, it is recommended that food safe or non-toxic epoxy is applied to areas of the product which will be in contact with silage, feed or water before use, and then periodically thereafter when it is empty, clean and dry in order to prevent corrosion of the steel and zinc and therefore extend the life of the equipment.
