Which saw should I choose?

Consider the timber you cut, how often you use a chainsaw and the weight you can comfortably handle. The 435 II is the lighter option here. The 450S offers more power for regular work, while the 455 Rancher adds power and weight for demanding tasks.

What oil comes free with my saw?

One free 100ml bottle of Husqvarna LS+ two-stroke oil is included with the saw-only option. It is not included with any package. It is for mixing with petrol according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Is the 1L oil free with the package?

No. The £39.99 package price pays for a compatible spare chain and one 1L bottle of Husqvarna LS+ two-stroke oil. The free 100ml bottle only comes with the saw-only option.

Is bar-and-chain oil included?

No. LS+ is two-stroke oil for the petrol mixture. Bar-and-chain oil is a separate lubricant. It is still required and is sold separately.

Can I add both packages?

Yes. The matched spare chain and 1L LS+ oil, plus Functional 16 gloves and clear glasses, add £74.98 to your saw price. Select the combined package on your saw’s product page. The free 100ml oil offer does not apply.

What is the difference between the gloves?

Functional 16 gloves have Class 0 chainsaw protection tested at 16m/s. Technical 20 gloves have Class 1 protection tested at 20m/s. Check the product label, protected areas and fit. These are test classifications, not guarantees against injury.

Is this everything I need to start cutting?

No. You also need suitable fuel, bar-and-chain lubricant and protective equipment appropriate to the work. Gloves and glasses alone are not a complete chainsaw PPE setup. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and arrange appropriate operator training.
